So I was at failed Karaoke Lounge Skandalz for New Year’s Eve, and right before the big salmonella outbreak (if you haven’t heard, it was a real catastrophe. People were vomiting all over the place), I was singing a song from this album and wishing they had this song instead, and I thought, “Oh my God, I totally love this song.” 


Then I realized I hadn’t posted in awhile and that 2011, for the most part, sucked donkey balls. This year, I expect and demand that everything be different, but only in the best possible ways. What better way to inaugurate the long upcoming dredge of Winter than with a song like this. This album was one of my favorites of 2001 and to this day, it gives me warm fuzzies. 


So whatever you’re doing this fine Wednesday morning to inaugurate your seasonal what-have-you’s, give this song a listen. Maybe you’ll take the message to heart and it’ll brighten your day and inspire you. Or, maybe you’ll be all, “This song sucks!” Whatever your reaction is, I want to wish every single one of my readers an awesome 2012. Let’s make this year the best one, like, ever! I’m on my feet. I’m on the floor. I’m good to go. All I need is just to hear a song I know.
