thesparkle.net, "the everygirl's guide to the good life" is a great blog that you should be checking out, like, every day.

Erin is a cool-chick, down-to-earth, style maven that gives you the what for without all the bullshit that can sometimes go along with that stuff. She ain't no Wintour Ice Queen. Shopping, recipes, how-to's and more, it's like a quick visit with your best girlfriend, except it's a website and it's on the internet (so, really I guess it isn't like that, but I'm trying to be cute). It's more like a women's magazine that doesn't hate its readers.

Her Holiday Gift Guide was cool, because instead of being a bunch of stuff you can't afford to give anyone, she starts with good stuff to buy for around 20 bucks and then it goes up from there. When she says everygirl's guide to the good life, she's not kidding around. Even those of us who aren't girls and are a lil' po' can find something to do, eat, drink or buy on Erin's site.

From hangover cures to fashion to advice on being a good guest (you'd be surprised how people sometimes just don't know) to a post on gold, thesparkle.net is a great site (simple elegant design coming from an unpretentious viewpoint) by a great chick.
