I really need to keep my eye on my city’s alternative weekly (The Georgia Straight) so I am aware of more shows coming through town. The Pixies were here for two nights and I didn’t go to either. My own fault, I know, but it would have been an incredible show.
If anyone knows how to get on the comped ticket train they should let me know. It would be amazing to get offered a couple tickets to everything that came through town. Why do celebrities or even quasi-celebrities get everything free when they make so much money? I know the answer, of course, but it’s one of those answers that is annoying.
