Remember CD’s? Well I had this Sonic Youth’s Dirty in my collection for a super long time before somebody showed me that if you popped out the back tray that the CD sat in. and pulled it out, there was a picture just sitting back there that was, well, dirty. If you know what I’m talking about maybe you got the same kind of surprise. If you don’t know what I’m talking about and you still own this CD, go find it and find out.


That always reminds me of a painting I saw once that sorta gave me the willies for no real reason. I believe it was a 17th century Dutch painting (if memory serves) of a woman working in a field. There was something unsettling about the picture and I was later told that historians had found that a coffin had been painted underneath the woman in the field and then painted over by the artist so you couldn’t see it.
