This is brilliant viral marketing by Dan Savage and his team. This whole scenario reminds me of the documentary, "Outrage," which is a fascinating exposure that the most homophobic and hateful people towards gays are themselves gay(closeted; like to sleep with members of the same sex)...And Republican.
It certainly seems that people in general are moving towards greater intelligence and in the coming decades we will hopefully recognize speech like Rick Santorum's indictment of gay people in the Gawker post, as being nothing more than a silly projection of their own personal lives.
