When I first heard DB, the songs were on stripped-down, acoustic and perfect sing-a-longs for moody kids with long bangs. This version of this song is meatier and rocks out in a gentle way. One either loves or hates Chris Carrabba’s voice and songs it seems, if the internet is to be believed. I am somewhere on the fence. Also: he is my birthday sista.
Lyrically, this song captures a boring but perfect night between a couple kids falling in something and it has all the innocence, yearning and romance (sorry) that this implies.
