Mistake Pageant by Idlewild
Somehow, while sounding like neither, this makes me think of what would happen if REM and The Smiths had an Irish baby. I love rock music you can dance to and this song will have you pogo-ing around your bedroom while joining in on the sing-song chorus in no time. Also, calling a tragic party a Mistake Pageant is utterly brill and we should all start using it (or stop going to shitty parties).
