Finally, ten years after dropping the amazing “You’re a
Woman, I’m a Machine,” these guys are back. I’m sure there are a bunch of
millennials who are all, “Awesome!” or whatever it is that they say to express
positivity in something they enjoy and some are saying, “Dude, they sold out,”
or whatever. I say these guys have kept their sound intact and moved it forward
enough so that they’re not imitating what they were doing, lo, a decade ago.
These guys still fuckin’ rock to go all “East Van” on ya.
If you like dancing to rock n’ roll, these guys are amazing
for creating blistering Sabbath-esque music with a great beat. Like Interpol,
Magneta Lane or Andrew WK, this is sweaty, balls-out capital-R Rock to which
one can shake one’s tailfeather.
