Oh My God! I Totally Love This Song 

THE BRIGHT LIGHT BY TANYA DONELLY 

Sometimes a song is so amazing and the first time you hear it one line grabs you and won’t let go. In this song it was when the former Throwing Muse, Breeder, and member of Belly, Tanya Donelly, sings, “Wild and high on the summer wind.” I heard that and fell in love. This is probably my favorite song about being abducted by aliens, too. 

I had forgotten about good ol’ TD and a snippet of this song popped into my head and I took a quick tour through the back cataglogue of this almost-shoulda-coulda 80’s and 90’s rock star. I saw her with Throwing Muses, Belly and on her first solo tours so you’d think I wouldn’t forget.
