Dum Dum Girls are right up my alley. They take my love for modern rock and 60’s girl groups and turn into something new and fresh. Dee Dee Penny started the group as a bedroom project and she has a tough chick vibe that makes me love the band. 

They also have awesome style and I so want to see them when they next breeze through town. One could surmise that this project is all about style, but delving deeper into their catalogue, one finds a really good band.
