Oh My God! I Totally Love This Song!

There will never be another Sleater Kinney, but that’s cool because Carrie Brownstein is expanding her whole thing both with Portlandia and with Wild Flag. This is my favorite song off last year’s debut album by this all-star band. 

The vocal on this is amazing as Carrie Lene Lovichs her way over skittering guitars, groovy keyboards and, oh yeah, it’s a got a really good beat and you can dance to it. 

I recently met someone who made things go Boom! and it was pretty awesome, but alas, as things are wont to do, the bottom dropped out. I had a really awesome and intense month and a half and shall be OK. 

Also, sorry for getting all Dear Diary and personal on all y’alls.
