Oh My God! I Totally Love This Song!

This song off of Furnace Room Lullaby is country music in the best possible way. Her voice is killer and a song about songs is perfect. Neko Case divides her time between her solo career and her spot in New Pornographers. I’ve had the pleasure to see both bands, and even saw her playing drums for 3-piece girl punk band, Maow. 

I think in Vancouver, we like to pretend she’s one of ours since she lived here for awhile but she’s actually American (not that there’s anything wrong with that). I couldn’t find a live version of this song, which is too bad. This is a great sing along song so get your best Country twang on and belt it out.
