This spot has recently become a bit of a calvalcade of oldies so I’m bringing you this blistering rock anthem as something new. Torche are a Miami band that make awesome melodic metal. If you liked harder music in your youth but stopped listening to it because you’re old, give this a try. There are shades of Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age and Black Sabbath all over this mother, but it manages to also sound new and different.

They get bonus points from me for having a queer member (not that the music really reflects anything about that) and also because one of the members is wearing my brother’s band’s t-shirt in some of their publicity photos. So sit back, let your caffeine kick in and crank this shit up, yo!
