FUCK AND RUN BY LIZ PHAIR
I listened to this album on the weekend and was impressed by how vital it still sounded. And, then it occurred to me that maybe that’s what all olds tell themselves while listening to their oldies.
This song was a bit of an anthem for a lot of girls and gays back in the 90’s, but now it feels like I should be a little too mature for this song to resonate as much as it does.
This was an amazing album and Liz Phair seemed like the coolest chick on the planet. While listening to this song, I looked for some pics of the modern day Phair and came across this most unfortunate image:
