Oh My God! I Totally Love This Song!

This is the first song I ever heard by this band and it was the amazing video that I saw. The daytime teen club depicted is, like, the coolest place that never existed. I loved its cool, meandering groove and the weird vocal. If your head doesn’t bob around when you listen to this then you need to loosen the hell up. They’re reminiscent of another “SP” band, Smashing Pumpkins. 

Silversun Pickups next album, Neck of the Woods, drops next week and I’m very interested to hear it. I love their first EP and both of their albums, but it is a very rare case when a band has more than two great albums and I’m hoping they are one of the few that can do it. 


The best part of a band you love putting out new music is the tour that follows and I’m hoping they come through my city so I can see them play for a second time. Their live act was great last time as you can sample in the second video. I’ve been waiting. I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life:
