Ok, this song has the best new wave-y guitar and the vocal is awesome. It is one of those fast, foot-tapping songs of which I’m completely fond. This band has some great songs and videos.


In something completely not related, DC comics are going to restart their whole line of comics in September with 52 new #! Issues. I’m excited about this in a way that is a little geeky. Part of me is interested to see what this creative ploy will do in terms of story and art and part of me wants to hear the annoying comic book continuity police’s heads explode all over the internet.


I think with this kind of serialized story-telling that doing some kind of reboot or continuity game-changer is totally cool. It happens all the time and unfortunately for the comics industry, I think it brings in as many new readers as the readers who walk away because this isn’t “their” version of whatever character. When you have 75 years of monthly stories or multiple books that’s a lot of stuff to keep up with for writers. Sometimes getting to distill what is cool about these funny books and present them to a new generation creates an awesome place for creators to make great comic books. We’ll see in September how this plays out for DC Comics.
