When I first heard this around 10 or 11 I loved it. I loved that it was weird and different and that was probably because that’s how I felt. Soon after this I attended Hello World Day Camp and one day they had an elective thing called, “Crazy Dancing” which sounded fun to lil’ me.


In Crazy Dancing, we danced crazy. The cool teen counselors played Devo, B-52’s, and selections from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, among others. I think in that afternoon my fate was sealed. I would always try to find new music and try to find stuff off the beaten path. This beaten path part became less important as I grew older. And I still like dancing crazy.
