I’m housesitting for my friend and she has a cat named Flopsy. I keep calling him Flossie and then of course that gets switched to me singing his name as, “Flossie, Flossie,” which made me think of this song. Also, I really liked when there was another Fergie and they called her the Duchess of Pork in the tabloids. So mean, stupid and obvious. Here's hoping Stacey Ferguson gets fat one day so the name returns. 


I’m not a huge Black Eyed Peas fan but when this song hit a few years ago, I was into it. I’m not really sure why but maybe it’s the spelling of the title or maybe its her soft sexy-kitten vocal. Perhaps, it’s just the sublime ridiculousness of the lyrics or her weird pronunciation of some of the words (champ-payyyne) but man does this song make me smile. Maybe I just want to have the kind of life where this song is actually relatable and pertains to my life (minus the performing on MTV part). Are you ready?
