The Almost started as a side-project by the drummer from Underoath. There was a period in the mid-to-late aughts when every new band I discovered turned out to be Christian. That didn’t really turn me off of many of them and I had to admit we’d come a long way since Stryper.


This song is a great mainstream-rock song. It burns through the verses at a breakneck pace and then slows down for the chorus which is good. The singer has a great voice and the video is beautifully shot. The album this comes from is pretty good, but there are a couple songs that are a little too Jesus-y for my liking.
