After Friday’s OMGITLTS, I thought I’d better select a song that grown ups can listen to and enjoy. The National make great pop music for adults. The music isn’t overly loud and the singer, Matt Berninger has a lovely baritone. Their lyrics are like great short stories and this is music that’s good as background music or on headphones.


This song has a great chorus and a great mid-tempo beat that gallops along. When the la la la’s kick in, you’ll be singing along. I love driving through the city on my scooter to this song.
