Florida’s Surfer Blood make great Summer-y sounding indie rock. This song’s atmospherics bring to mind the Beach Boys, The Shins, Weezer, and something that’s their very own. For such an unknown band, they already have stadium-worthy sounds all over the album this comes from.


The video has all kinds of fun stuff. There’s a dude running around in his underwear for those of you who dig that sort of thing. There’s two guys dressed as quasi-Disney characters making out and beating an old guy with his own walker. There’s the hippie-looking percussionist from the band stealing and stomping on a little girl’s ice cream cone. Check it out:
