Oh My God! I Totally Love This Song!

Omaha, Nebraska’s Tilly and the Wall are the best band out there who eschew a drummer in favor of a tap dancer. They also have a “Let’s-put-on-a-show-and-save-this-old-town!” quality. There is also a 60’s girl group vibe about them and I love the spoken word bit in the middle. This song about talking shit has a great sing-song chorus and the singer sounds like Marcia Brady. Also: the video has choreography!


It’s been a couple years since they’ve put out anything new and I’m looking forward to it. The album this comes off of was on heavy rotation during the Summer a couple years ago and I bet this Spring/Summer could use them in its soundtrack. It’s also International Women’s Day and this band has women in it.
