I always want to like Beyonce. I think she’s pretty talented and gorgeous. Also she has a made up name that rhymes with fiance. I find much of her music to be on the shriek-y side or in the worst cases, completely tuneless. This song, on the other hand, is great. It has a redemption theme running through it and anyone who’s spent too much time with the wrong person can probably relate.


The piano with the thumping back beat combined with Mrs. Hova’s understated vocal was probably the centerpiece of her last tour and if it wasn’t it should have been. The video is great and she looks gorgeous. If they ever get that Wonder Woman movie off the ground, here’s the lady that should play her.
