SHOULDER TO THE WHEEL BY SAVES THE DAY
Songs about driving make me feel teenage and this one is great. Saves the Day came out of the same scene as yesterday’s Thursday. The vocal is whiney-sweet and the music is chugging away pop-punk. It just makes me wanna go fast in a car in the Summer with someone really cool driving, my hand on their knee. The poetry of this song is great Teenage Kicks.
The video is super adorbs and looks like it’s shot in someone’s basement (probably was) and it’s great to see all the white kids so enthused.
