THRASH UNREAL BY AGAINST ME!
I first heard this song on my 39th birthday and it hit me lift a gut punch. Visceral, sad, rockin’ and punk as fuck, this became my (tongue firmly in cheek) anthem. Perhaps, these guys meant this in a sorta straight-edge condescending way but I just ignore that and enjoy it. The lyrics make this rise above what could otherwise just be a barroom rocker. Just don’t listen to it on your birthday if you’re feeling a lil’ over the hill. Or strung out.
