How To Be A Geek
part two

I recently discovered this site, Superdickery.com, and I want to share it with you.

This site has taken comic book panels and covers from yesteryear and displayed them in the following categories: Examples of Superdickery, Confounding Comic Covers, Frames and Panels, Everything’s Better With Monkeys, Seduction of the Innocent, Weird Science, Suffering Sappho, Propaganda Extravaganza, and Stupor Powers.

It is hilarious that this stuff all saw print in what was then a children’s Medium because, taken out of context, or even in context for some of them, this stuff would not be OK for today’s kids.

Even if you have no interest in “funny books” you have got to go and take a gander at these image galleries. If I didn’t know these were from authentic comic books, I would think someone had re-written the speech balloons.

But, these are authentic. Here’s a preview of the weirdness on display:
